Your Homework
Tell me about yourself! Before we get on location and the digital film starts to flow I’ll be emailing you a short survey. Nothing too intimidating or lengthy but enough to offer some insight into your personality, where you are coming from, and where you’re headed. We want to make this day about you!
Location
Where? Start thinking about a place you love or some place that has really shaped who you are, that’s where we want to shoot! Maybe it’s a track field, maybe it’s a library, or maybe it’s at your favorite fishing hole, where ever you decide, I’ll work to get us there!
Need help? Can’t seem to decide where you’d like to photograph? No worries! We are so incredibly lucky to live in a city with such diversity. I’ll work with you and we can come up with a location together!
Test Day
Finally! We picked the location, we have settled on a few styles you would like to show off, now all you have to do is relax, smile, and enjoy the fun!
How long does the session last? The typical graduate shoot lasts around 2 hours but we could go longer or we might get exactly what we need in less than 2 hour.
When do we get started? When photographing outside, we like to work with the best light possible. Some refer to this time as the golden hour, meaning those times being just before and after sunrise and sunset. Unless restricted, I prefer shooting during this golden hour. Photographing inside is far less time dependent and can be done when your schedule allows.
Getting the Grade
How long until the photos are ready? Photos can be expected within one week of your session. I’m just as excited as you are to see the final products so they move to the top of the stack!
Where can I find My photos? All photos will be available for download on the website under Client Galleries. I will be sending you a password to access your private gallery.
Can I get prints made? You may order prints directly from the site or use the downloaded file and have prints made at the location of your choosing. I am quite the critic when it comes to printing companies and I can attest to the quality of these prints and their customer service is second to none.
Can I get an Album made? Albums are the perfect way to display your pictures and believe me, there will be plenty of opportunities for that! Graduation parties, coffee table conversations with family and friends, and of course when we get nostalgic and want to relive the good ol’ days!
